Synopsis

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for performing a range of public affairs and community outreach duties for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Oregon. Typical work assignments will include:

  • Executing campaigns to enhance understanding of the United States Attorney’s initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with print and broadcast media representatives
  • Preparing magazine and newspaper articles, brochures, news releases, booklets, etc., for publication and dissemination.
  • Arranging and coordinating for press conferences
  • Conducting special events, workshops, and seminars
  • Assisting personnel in other agencies and Departmental components on carrying out community relations activities

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
