Social Media Coordinator

The City of West Columbia is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our Public Relations team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to promote various City Department initiatives, events, programs, and campaigns. You will report directly to the Director of Public Relations and collaborate closely with the City Administrator to ensure effective communication and engagement with the community. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms including Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for creating engaging content.
Salary range: $43,689.95 – $61,166.46 (FY 23-24) annually.
