Communication in Crisis Conference Offered

CCTA Communication in Crisis Conference

Tennessee Homeland Security District 2 received funding to develop and implement regional approaches for enhancing preparedness for complex coordinated terrorist attacks. Plenary sessions will feature lessons learned from large scale events and breakout sessions will offer a variety of training on topics ranging from the mechanics of information sharing through IPAWS and EAS to crafting effective emergency messages for social media.

There is no cost to attend.

The Communication in Crisis Conference is funded through the US Department of Homeland Security Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack Grant and State Homeland Security Grant.
